Ordering Samples from Wedding Paper Divas

To help you shop with confidence, we are happy to send you samples of your favorite designs so you can see and feel the superior quality of all of our wedding stationery before you place your online order. Samples of our Signature Collection wedding invitation designs cost only $5, and samples of our Signature Collection bridal shower and other party invitations cost $3. Plus, with each shipment of samples, we will include a $10 off coupon for orders of $50 or more, so your samples will pay for themselves in both style and savings! One coupon per order, please.

What Will You Receive with your Signature Collection Sample Order?
When you order Signature Collection wedding invitation samples, we treat each sample order as an opportunity to showcase the best attributes of that design instead of just a chance to send you one lonely card. So, when you order a sample of a particular wedding invitation, you will receive a sample ensemble of cards that coordinate with that design. For example, when you order a sample of a wedding invitation for only $5, you will receive a kit of matching cards, which typically includes the wedding invitation and response card for that design, plus the envelopes that come with each component. For bridal shower invitations or save the date card samples, your sample kit will include the invitation and its corresponding envelope for only $3. As a result, you get to see the complete package! Plus, you only need to order one sample card of each design, but if you accidentally order the same design twice, we will promptly credit all duplicates before sending out your sample kit.

The sample wedding stationery you receive will be the standard color we showcase on our site, but we will also send a printed color palette along with every Signature Collection sample ensemble. Rather than ordering and paying for a sample card in each of the colors you are interested in, we send one of each design along with a printed color palette of all colors available for that design. That way, you can see all of the beautiful colors available for a particular design and you can compare multiple shades of the color you are considering for your stationery. Although the printed color palette is a great tool, we still encourage ambitious stationery shoppers to shop for other colors online and in your sample kit to see what else might work with your theme or color scheme.

Please note that custom color requests are not available for samples. But, since we require the exact CMYK color code for all custom colors, any swatch book you choose the color from will very closely match the custom colors that appear the stationery you choose. As a result, you can rest assured that the color you chose will be a near identical match the color that appears on your printed cards.

If you cannot find the color of your dreams on our site, we now offer two specialized palettes that highlight the 30 most requested custom colors for both our ecru and white paper options. If you would like to customize your Signature Collection invitation with one of our custom colors, please order the Signature White Custom Color Options Card or the Signature Ecru Custom Color Options Card depending on your paper preference. The cards are printed on the same 110 lb. uncoated, smooth white or textured ecru card stocks featured in our Signature Collection in order to give you an accurate, printed representation of the color you choose.

Please do not select a color by viewing the card on your computer monitor or after it has been printed on a non-commercial printer. Our Signature Collection is printed on a commercial, digital 4-color printing press. Thus, to ensure that your invitations are printed with the correct shade of the color you choose, we strongly recommend that you select a custom color only after viewing it on a printed card.

If you cannot find the color you are looking for in our collection, please give us a call and one of our color specialists will work with you to find a color you will fall in love with. Keep in mind that our Signature Collection is printed on a 4-color printing press; therefore, we are not able to guarantee an exact match to a Pantone Matching System (PMS) color. If you are not able to provide a CMYK (4-color) value, we can find the closest matching color to your PMS color for you.

What Will You Receive with our Letterpress Collection Sample Orders?
Samples of all of our Letterpress Collection wedding invitation designs cost $7 and include the same great coupon code mentioned above with our Signature Collection samples.

For Letterpress Collection wedding invitation samples, we continue to treat sample orders by design rather than by card and provide you with both the invitation and response card. As a result of the time and care associated with fine letterpress printing, we are unable to provide a complete wedding stationery suite, but have chosen the two sizes that are represented most. Please be sure to order only one card of each design (if you accidentally order the same design twice with two different cards, rest assured, we will promptly credit all duplicates before sending out your samples).

Along with the invitation and response card, you will also receive a complimentary sample of our lined envelope option. We have an alluring array of 24 envelope liners, which are available for a small fee with both our single and double envelope options for Letterpress Collection wedding invitations. Please note that when liners are ordered with our double envelope option, the liner will be included only on the inner, un-gummed envelope.

The sample wedding invitation cards you receive are offered in the standard color we showcase on our site. Due to the labor intensive nature of the letterpress printing process, we are unable to offer a color swatch card with each of our Letterpress Collection designs, but will happily assist you if you are interested in another letterpress color option available on our site.

What Should You Do Once You Receive Your Samples?
We recommend that you revisit our website, navigate to the design you chose, use our color palette tool to choose the color you are interested in and then look at the printed samples for color matching and print quality.

Sample Order Turnaround Timeframe
Most sample orders are processed the next business day (if placed before 3:00 pm PST) and sent via regular USPS service from our beautiful Northern California Bay Area offices.
